  1. Scoring for individual hands in a game uses the normal Euchre rules:

  3. # Tricks Taken                       Points

  5. You bid, take 1 or 2 Tricks          2 for Opponents  (You got EUCHRED!)
  6. You bid, take 3 or 4 tricks          1 point
  7. You bid, take all 5 tricks           2 points!
  8. You go alone, take 1 or 2 tricks     4 for Opponents (You got EUCHRED!)
  9. You go alone, take 3 or 4 tricks     1 point
  10. You go alone, take all 5 tricks      4 points!

  12. For monthly scores, a special scoring method is used.  Because our computer
  13. program isn't all that smart, you get MORE points by beating humans then
  14. you do by beating computers.

  16. We also want to encourage the social get-together aspects of playing cards,
  17. not just the same old play-against-the-computer syndrome.  So you get the
  18. MOST points if you and a human partner can beat 2 other humans!
